Submission Guidelines
Simple and quick: one artwork per submission, so every piece can be labeled, prepared, and installed properly.
One artwork = one submission
If a school is sending five pieces, complete the form five times. Each entry receives its own artwork ID. Individual and group submissions are both welcome.
Artwork requirements
- 2D artwork only, with artist information attached to the back.
- All artwork must be securely matted — no frames and no glass this year.
- Individual submissions: no larger than 24" x 24", including matting.
- Group submissions: no larger than 36" x 36", including matting.
What to have ready
- A clear photo of the artworkWell lit, straight on, full piece in frame.
- Individual or groupBoth are welcome, group entries list every participating artist.
- Artist or group display nameExactly as it should appear on the exhibit label.
- Artwork titleOr “Untitled” if the artist prefers.
- Age (individual entries)Used alongside the grade or age group.
- School or program name and addressThe submitting site.
- Grade or age groupUsed for the wall label.
- Medium / materials usedFor example watercolor, acrylic, collage.
- Width and height including mattingInches please.
- OrientationPortrait, landscape, square, or other.
- Teacher / contact name and emailSo the team can follow up quickly.
- Artist statementHow the piece represents the theme “Exceptionally You!” - 2-5 sentences.
- Optional display instructionsAnything the install team should know.
Privacy first
This form does not ask for a student diagnosis or disability category. It also does not collect student ID numbers, home addresses, or other sensitive personal information. We only collect what is needed to label, prepare, and install the artwork.
Permissions reminder
The submitting school or contact is responsible for confirming any required permissions or releases according to their organization's process before submitting an artwork.
After you submit
You will see a confirmation screen with a unique artwork ID such as EY-0047. Write or attach that ID to the back of the physical artwork before delivery. A printable “Artwork Back Tag” is provided on the confirmation screen.
